Octagon Theatre announces Autumn/Winter line-up
YEOVIL'S Octagon Theatre has announced its Autumn/Winter season line-up.
The new Classical Concert Series sees some of the finest musicians and ensembles including John Lill, La Serenissima and Armonico Consort. Popular orchestra Sinfonia Classica are back for two concerts - one with Julian Lloyd Webber and one with Catrin Finch, former harpist for the Prince of Wales. The concert series promises a sparkling season of music and, as always, there are special rates for Footlights members who take advantage of the subscription series.
Fresh from their brilliant performance in the Semi-Final of Britain's Got Talent, The Circus of Horrors will once again be filling the stage with the 'weird and the wonderful'. Simon Cowell declared he 'loved' their performance and this platform is likely to bring a new legion of fans to The Circus of Horrors who first performed in 1995 at Glastonbury Festival.
A host of famous faces will make an appearance including Patricia Routledge (Mrs Bouquet/Bucket), pianist Piers Lane and Lord Robert Winston of The Human Body, Secret Life of Twins and Superhuman fame, Joe Pasquale, top ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, BBC Radio 4 favourite Andy Hamilton and farming funnyman Jethro.
Octagon favourite Damian Williams returns to star in Bruce James latest comedy production - Not Now Darling, while The Vagina Monologues will be performed by an all-star cast.
And finally, Chapterhouse Theatre Company are back with novel adaptation Cranford at Christmas.
